After looking at all our options, we've decided to redesign the PD series of dischargers
to eliminate their dependence on certain hard-to-find components and the machined bottom plate. The existing design has
worked great for 7 years without a single PD series discharger being sent back for repair or replacement. And, without
a price increase for all those years!
But, in order to keep the price down as much as possible, now and in the future, we've decided to update the design. The
current and voltage ranges will be the same but the cutoff voltage accuracy will be increased and you'll be able to set the
cutoff voltage in 0.1V increments over the votlage range for that discharger. This will allow discharging of Lithium packs
to a storage voltage and discharging for any chemistry pack.
We expect to have the new dischargers available in a few weeks, Check here every couple of weeks for more information as
we firm up the design, get the new parts in, and start assembling new batches of dischargers.
Thank you for your interest in our products!

Due to a shortage of certain components, we will be unable to fill any MiniPD-12V, PD-12V, PD-24V
and PD-36V Discharger and ACM-15 Auto-Cutoff orders for perhaps up to a month. We'll know more in a week or so
and will post updates here. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience for those of you who recently placed orders or
were considering doing so soon. We are working hard to have these parts in as soon as possible and to get new batches of
PD-12V, PD-24V, PD-36V, and ACM-15's assembled as quickly as possible after that.

A ruggedized version of our PD-36V discharger is being used to
support the guidance unit for the U.S. Army's Screamer guided parachute system. Several dozen of our
dischargers have been operational in Afghanistan for several months with zero reported failures.
If you have a need for one of our products but would like to see certain features changed, or even
an entirely new product designed for you, please contact us. We'd be
happy to discuss your application and how we might be able to help. |
