Description

A CamLight Systems Load Module uses durable ceramic power-resistors to increase the Stage-1 discharge current level of our 2-Stage Pack Dischargers. It plugs directly into the connector on the discharger and is automatically controlled by the discharger.

Each Load Module is designed for a certain discharger and range of battery pack voltages:
  • LM-7.2V - Used with the PD-12V 2-Stage Discharger and 4-6 cell (NiCD/NiMH) or 2-cell (2S) Lithium packs. Coming soon!
  • LM-12V - Used with the PD-12V 2-Stage Discharger and 4-10 cell (NiCd/NiMH or 2-3 cell (2S-3S) Lithium packs.
All of CamLight's Load Modules have the following features:
  • Cooling fan to increase the life of the power-resistors.
  • Durable 14AWG silicone-insulated wire leads, wire-tied in place.
  • Polarized connector for easy hookup to the discharger.

*If used with a PD-24V 2-Stage Discharger, only discharge 10-cell NiCd/NiMH
and 3S Lithium packs. Discharging battery packs with more than 10 cells will
overheat and possibly damage the LM-12V.

**The discharge current level through our Load Modules cannot be
adjusted but the Stage-1 current level of the discharger's built-in load
can be adjusted.

***When using a Load Module, add these values to whatever your
discharger's Stage-1 discharge current level setting is to calculate the
total Stage-1 discharge current level.
